Mooselookmeguntic Lake Fishery Tagging Study

Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is currently studying the health of the fishery in Mooselookmeguntic Lake and tributaries. Up to 500 Floy tags and 125 radio transmitters were implanted on brook trout and landlocked salmon. Anglers’ participation is key to the success of this study, as we need pertinent information regarding where and when these tagged fish were caught, so we can work to ensure an even healthier Mooselook fishery into the future.

Help us continue to improve this valuable fishery, and if you catch or know of someone who caught a tagged fish, please report it using the form below or through the Survey 123 app.
